Concert Health & Safety Information

The health and safety of our audience, musicians, staff, and volunteers is of utmost importance to us. With new variants spreading rapidly, we are proceeding cautiously in order to protect the health of all.

To this end, the Whatcom Chorale Board of Directors has adopted the following health and safety protocols:

  • Audience members for the Whatcom Chorale concert on December 2 are required to be fully immunized against Covid-19. Mount Baker Theatre employees will be checking proof of vaccination prior to audience members’ entry. It is strongly recommended that eligible patrons be boosted as well.

  • All soloists, Whatcom Chorale and Sinfonia musicians, and Mount Baker Theatre staff members must be fully vaccinated and boosted.

  • Masks are required for all individuals inside Mount Baker Theatre. KN94, KN95, or N95 masks are strongly recommended for our audiences and required for musicians. People not wearing a mask properly covering their nose and mouth will be required to leave.

  • All performers in the December 2 Whatcom Chorale concert are required to have a negative rapid Covid-19 test prior to removing their masks to sing and/or play onstage.

  • By purchasing a ticket, patrons are confirming that they and their guests will be in good health and will not have been exposed to Covid-19 prior to attending the concert.

  • We will be open, transparent, and timely in communicating our health and safety protocols, which will be driven by national, state, and local guidance.

Protocols adopted by Whatcom Chorale Board of Directors on September 29, 2023.
