Music Unites Us All!

“Anchored in the classics, focused on the future,” Whatcom Chorale presents a rich selection of accompanied and a cappella classical, sacred, and contemporary choral music in a variety of languages, striving to offer creative musical experiences for listeners and singers alike. Our Community-based auditioned choir comprises singers from Whatcom, Skagit and King counties. Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Bellingham, Washington.

Our Mission

Our mission is to nourish, benefit and enrich our membership and community through the study, rehearsal, and performance of classical and newly composed music, presenting a variety of styles, voices and background. We believe that music is a language that allows us to communicate life's experiences, from profound depths through great joy.

Inclusivity Statement

Whatcom Chorale believes that everyone benefits from diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we are dedicated to active leadership that fosters those principles in every aspect of our organization. We are committed to expanding the presence of composers and performers from under-represented groups in our concerts, and to increasing the diversity of our audiences.

We believe that bringing beautiful choral music to our community is enhanced by the inclusion of all individuals, regardless of our differences. When we come together in song, our voices are united.
